Jublia AI has upgraded its Recommendation Engine to help event attendees navigate the growing volume of people, companies, products and opportunities available at conferences and exhibitions.

As events become richer in content, connections and commercial opportunities, the challenge for attendees is increasingly less about finding options and more about identifying which ones are actually worth their time.

Singapore-based event engagement intelligence platform Jublia AI is addressing that challenge with an upgraded Recommendation Engine designed to make event discovery more relevant, proactive and easier to navigate.

The enhanced system is intended to help attendees focus their time on opportunities that align with their individual interests and goals, while providing more context around why particular recommendations are being made.

From more options to more relevant discovery

The upgrade changes how recommendations are generated by taking a wider range of context into account when identifying relevant opportunities.

Rather than simply presenting attendees with a larger selection of potential connections or activities, the Recommendation Engine proactively prepares recommendations for them to explore. It also provides clearer context behind each recommendation, giving users more information with which to assess its relevance before deciding what to pursue next.

That approach reflects a broader shift in event technology: from helping participants access the volume of information available at an event towards helping them make sense of it.

For Kuan Yan Tan, CEO of Jublia AI, the distinction is important. “The value of recommendations isn’t simply in showing people more options. It’s in helping them recognize which opportunities are relevant and giving them the context to make their own decisions,” said Kuan Yan Tan, CEO of Jublia AI. “With this upgrade, we’re making discovery more relevant, proactive, and easier to understand, helping participants make the most of the opportunities available to them.”

Supporting the event experience

The Recommendation Engine upgrade is part of Jublia AI’s wider focus on improving how participants discover and engage with relevant opportunities throughout the event experience.

The platform is positioned as an event engagement intelligence platform, designed to help events understand context, adapt in real time and respond when it matters most. According to the company, its technology is used across conferences, exhibitions and large-scale events by organisers worldwide.

At attendee level, the upgraded Recommendation Engine is designed to connect that intelligence with practical decision-making: helping participants identify people they may want to meet, companies and products that may be relevant to their interests, and other opportunities available within an event.

The underlying proposition is therefore not simply about increasing the number of recommendations presented to an attendee, but about making those recommendations easier to understand and act upon.

As event programmes and exhibition floors continue to generate ever greater volumes of potential interactions, the ability to filter those opportunities according to individual context could become an increasingly important part of the participant experience.

Jublia AI’s upgraded Recommendation Engine is now positioned around three principles: more relevant discovery, proactive recommendations and greater transparency around why an opportunity has been suggested.
