EventsAir Launches Planner Assistant to Turn Event Data into Instant Insight and Action

EventsAir has launched Planner Assistant, an AI-powered tool now available to all event planners using the platform, designed to turn live and historical event data into instant insights, visualisations and actions.

The new capability forms part of EventsAir’s Air Intelligence suite and brings natural-language interaction directly into the event management platform. According to the company, Planner Assistant combines native, in-product intelligence with a contextual foundation built on more than 35 years of event industry expertise.

Rather than requiring planners to build reports or navigate multiple dashboards, Planner Assistant allows them to ask complex questions about their events and receive answers in plain language. The tool can also turn findings into charts that can be saved and shared, while a growing range of actions can be carried out directly within the platform.

For example, planners can ask: “Can you show me total revenue collected so far, broken down by registration type and payment status?” and receive an immediate visual response. They can also ask which sessions are trending towards overcapacity, with Planner Assistant able to take action on their behalf, such as moving a session to a larger hall, when requested and within the same conversation.

Intelligence built into the platform

Planner Assistant is built directly into EventsAir, giving it access to the live context of a planner’s event data across areas including registrations, revenue, sessions, speakers and accommodation. EventsAir says this native approach was deliberate, with the company focusing on bringing AI into the environment where planners already manage their events.

The aim is to help planners engage more deeply with their events, analyse data faster and ultimately set up, manage and update events with less effort.

EventsAir is also developing Model Context Protocol (MCP) capability on the same foundation. Expected in the coming months, this will give planners greater flexibility to extend EventsAir into other AI tools and platforms they already use.
 

Tested in live event environments

Ahead of the launch, EventsAir worked with customers to test Planner Assistant in real event environments. Planner Assistant is now live inside EventsAir and available to all event planners on the platform. It joins Attendee Assistant and Content Assistant within Air Intelligence, the company’s growing family of AI-powered assistants supporting planners and attendees across the event lifecycle.
