VIECON Names Two Preferred Audiovisual Partners for 2027

From 1 January 2027, VIECON – Vienna Congress & Convention Center will rely on two strong partners, Concept Solutions and STEINERLIVE, for audiovisual services, following a comprehensive public selection process.

The expanded preferred partner model will strengthen VIECON’s service offering while giving event organisers greater choice, flexibility and access to comprehensive technical expertise. The move is designed to meet the growing demands of modern event formats with a broader range of services and consistently high standards of quality and sustainability.

Two partners, one commitment: the highest quality of service

Technological innovation, digital formats, increasing expectations for event production, and a broader understanding of sustainability require specialised solutions and trusted partners.

“We want to always offer our clients the best possible technical support for their events. With Concept Solutions and STEINERLIVE, we have two companies on board that stand for quality, reliability, and innovation and that will help us meet our high standards for service and customer experience in the long term,” says Katharina Weishaupt, Managing Director of VIECON.

The selection of preferred partners was based on a comprehensive set of criteria. In addition to technical expertise, innovation, service quality and modern technical infrastructure, the evaluation considered the teams’ qualifications and their ability to ensure the highest levels of event and operational safety, even for demanding event formats.

“Green events” were also a high priority. Environmental certifications, resource-efficient processes, sustainable logistics concepts and the organisation of green meetings were factored into the evaluation, alongside a long-term commitment to the responsible further development of the services offered.

Combined expertise for conferences and corporate events

STEINERLIVE has been a partner of the venue since its opening in 2004 and has extensive experience providing technical support for international conferences. The company specialises in integrated solutions in conference production, presentation management, streaming and digital services.

“Today, conferences are much more than traditional in-person events. They combine face-to-face interactions with content production, international networking, and digital services. Our goal is to provide organisers with the best possible support through well-thought-out technical solutions and to deliver a ‘Smart Congress’,” explains Thomas Wasshuber (first on the right), Managing Director of STEINERLIVE.

With Concept Solutions, VIECON gains an experienced partner with particular expertise in the design and execution of corporate events and brand presentations. The company brings many years of experience, together with extensive technical and human resources, to a wide variety of event formats.

Under the preferred partner model, both companies will contribute their respective core competencies. While Concept Solutions has particular strengths in the corporate segment, STEINERLIVE specialises in the conference sector. Going forward, clients will have access to the expertise of both partners across event formats.
