Travelport, a global technology company that facilitates bookings for hundreds of thousands of travel suppliers worldwide, and easyJet, Europe's leading airline, today announced a new content distribution agreement that will bring enhanced easyJet content to all Travelport's agency customers, including OTAs, for the first time.

The multi-year agreement confirms that travel retailers using Travelport+ will have access to all types of easyJet fares and bundles that the airline has made available to its distribution partners, including additional services, without any agency network restrictions. The addition of easyJet's Standard Plus (including choice of seat and one large piece of cabin baggage) and Essential (including choice of seat and one piece of checked baggage) bundles, complementing the existing Standard, Business Inclusive and Flexi fares, will significantly enhance the options available to business and leisure travellers.

Agents using Travelport+ will be able to shop and compare easyJet products on the same screen, so they can easily up-sell and personalise offers for their travellers. Travelport's enhanced service capabilities also ensure that agents can seamlessly manage easyJet bookings, including amendments and exchanges.

"We are bringing more easyJet content to Travelport+ so that travel retailers around the world can create more personalised offers and provide a superior service to our customers," said Dominic Tucker, Senior Distribution Manager at easyJet. "Our partnership with Travelport helps us bring more choice and connectivity to the market so that travellers using easyJet can easily personalise their experience and add extras when booking on any channel, whether they are travelling for leisure, business or both."

"This new agreement means that Travelport-connected agencies can effortlessly access easyJet's dynamic offers to book the best options for travellers based on their needs and preferences," said David Gomes, Head of Regional Airline Partners, EMEA at Travelport. "By opening up easyJet's content to online travel agents and travel management companies for the first time in Travelport+, we are making it even easier for travellers around the world to search for deals, book and manage their travel to any of the hundreds of destinations served by easyJet."

easyJet requires its agents to comply with the terms of its Distribution Charter. Full details of the charter are available here
