The Korea MICE Expo (KME) 2024, a leading exhibition for Korea’s Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry, will be held from 6 to 8 November at Songdo ConvensiA in Incheon.
Organised by the Korea MICE Association (KMA) and the Incheon Tourism Organization (ITO), with support from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Incheon Metropolitan City, and the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), KME2024 celebrates its 25th edition this year. Approximately 3,000 industry professionals are expected to attend, including over 300 companies and organisations as exhibitors and around 150 MICE event organisers from both Korea and abroad.

The theme for KME2024, “Much, More, MICE,” reflects the ambition to highlight Korea’s rapidly expanding MICE sector and its promising future. Known for its ability to integrate diverse sectors, the MICE industry requires close collaboration across tourism, hospitality, event planning, technology, and governmental bodies. Exhibitors will include regional tourism organisations, convention centres, professional conference organisers, service providers, hotels, travel agencies, IT companies, local governments, and tourism boards. Notably, Incheon will be joined by representatives from other key MICE regions including Seoul, Busan, Jeju, and other cities, presenting a comprehensive snapshot of Korea’s MICE capabilities.

In addition to the exhibition, KME2024 will feature a series of conferences offering valuable insights for MICE industry professionals, covering trends, technology, and sustainability in the sector. Key sessions will include the Korea-China-Japan MICE Forum, which brings together associations from the three countries to address policy issues, innovation in MICE cities, and future industry directions. Additional programmes will focus on the integration of AI platforms and new technologies relevant to MICE, while a dedicated youth session aims to inspire the next generation of MICE professionals.

Danny Hyundae Shin, Chairman of the Korea MICE Association, highlighted the significance of this year’s expo: “KOREA MICE EXPO 2024 will provide an ideal venue to bring together MICE industry leaders from across Korea and around the world. We encourage wide participation in KME2024, which showcases the latest MICE trends and promotes partnerships beyond regional and national boundaries.”
