JLLive has been selected as technical suppliers to RenewableUK’s flagship event, Global Offshore Wind (GOW) for the second year running.

Following a hugely successful hybrid event in September 2021, the team has been asked to deliver this year’s event, which will be fully live and in-person.

Phil McMichael (cover photo), managing director, JLLive, commented, “We are delighted RenewableUK has again turned to JLLive and we’re looking forward to lending our technical expertise and knowledge to create a live-event that delivers impact on experience. The last event we created for RenewableUK was a huge success and we are planning to push the boundaries of expectation even further at this fully in-person event.

“Our rich heritage in television means we are highly skilled in designing moments for live audiences which include surprise and wonder! We are passionate about driving our client’s vision to make the event not only the best it can be but one that will last in memories long after the attendees have gone home.”

The event will take place on 21-22 June at Manchester Central and expects over 4,000 attendees from over 40 countries,  a sold out 10,000m exhibition of 170+ exhibitors and 200 speakers across six content streams.

RenewableUK is the UK’s leading renewable energy trade association, representing the interests of over 430 companies. Its members are business leaders and expert thinkers across the industry, building future energy systems, powered by clean electricity. It’s annual Global Offshore Wine is the largest offshore wind energy event in Europe.

RenewableUK’s decision to work with JLLive was strongly influenced by the businesses sustainability credentials which include ESSA accreditation and Albert Sustainable Production Certification.

Garth Halliday, director of events at RenewableUK commented, “In 2021 JLLive completely understood our ambition so we were keen to work with them again on our fully in-person event in 2022. We know having JLLive on board from the outset will give them the opportunity to raise the bar in terms of production and really bring the event to life.”
