Cvent showcases its agile platform and reimagined user experience built to streamline execution and up-level engagement across in-person, virtual, & hybrid events.

Cvent, a market-leading meetings, events, and hospitality technology provider, kicks off its annual customer conference, Cvent CONNECT®, today. For the first time, Cvent CONNECT will be delivered in a hybrid format, enabling thousands of event professionals, marketers, and hoteliers online to join with their in-person counterparts in Las Vegas for a true shared hybrid experience. The 4-day event will offer both virtual and in-person attendees an opportunity to learn best practices, network with their peers, hear from industry leaders, and experience first-hand how Cvent’s event marketing and management platform can help organisations deliver impactful, engaging experiences across all event sizes, types, and formats.

As with many other sectors, the pandemic accelerated the digital transformation of the events industry, ushering in a new landscape where virtual, in-person, and hybrid events can thrive. As event programmes expand to accommodate more audiences and formats, technology plays an increasingly central role in enabling organisations to execute efficiently, deliver high levels of engagement, and capture insights across all audiences and event formats. To maximise Total Event Programme impact, Cvent recommends organisations leverage one system of record to more efficiently manage logistics and capture and act on engagement to drive positive business results.

Extending the Cvent Platform in a New Era of Events

Cvent’s event marketing and management platform offers planners and marketers a robust suite of solutions to market, manage, and execute their in-person, virtual, and hybrid events. As audiences and events moved online, the company accelerated investment in its virtual and hybrid offerings including launching Cvent Attendee Hub, an always-on engagement experience for both in-person and virtual audiences.

Cvent also unveiled a new user experience that makes it easier for event organisers to manage their total event programme. Within one easy-to-use dashboard, event organisers can add or remove event components with the click of a button to customise how simple or complex they want their event to be. Data is only entered once and becomes available in all Cvent solutions being used for the event. Having a single source of event data provides event organisers with a command centre where they can easily build an event – or multiple events – review event performance, identify trends through data visualisation, and take action to maximise the impact of future events. Customisable templates make it easy for organisations to scale their event programme.

“As event programmes grow and formats multiply, managing and scaling your Total Event Programme requires one platform that can deliver a single source for event performance and attendee insights. More than ever, relying on manual processes and multiple disparate point solutions can cripple your event programme,” said Cvent Chief Marketing Officer, Patrick Smith (cover photo).  “Cvent’s Attendee Hub and reimagined user experience across our platform gives planners and marketers one place to build any event, in any format, with the flexibility they need to accommodate all types of events and drive attendee engagement across all audiences. We’re excited to showcase the critical importance of an end-to-end platform in this new era of events at Cvent CONNECT and to our hundreds of thousands of users around the world.”
