The CTICC provides a playground for visitors to experience the limitless world of artists and creators in the virtual world at the This is Art fair this weekend (26 – 28 November).
Technologies such as Augmented Reality can broaden the horizons of an artist’s creativity by providing a virtual environment for them to produce work in. This virtual reality allows them to play with colour, light and effects, often impossible in the real world.
One such artist who has adopted this technology is Benjamin Mitchley (right picture). He has embraced the ability to add new dimensions to physical art, allowing his audience to interact with his pieces.
Visitors to the show can interact with a selection of his Artivive App Augmented Reality works or join a FREE Artivive Augmented Reality Workshop at the fair on 27 November from 4pm – 5pm. Visitors will get free access to This is Art and The Gift Fair when booking the workshop with Benjamin.
