The Forum was founded in 2012 as a platform for senior European event organisers who, thanks to the forum, can meet representatives of convention bureaus and destination companies, congress and social venues and suppliers of various services linked to the meeting industry.

The Prague edition of the forum took place from 23 to 25 February and welcomed 82 buyers and 146 suppliers from all over Europe, with the United Kingdom and Germany traditionally being the strongest markets.

In addition to the workshops held at the Marriott Prague Hotel, during the accompanying programme the Meetings Space participants also had the opportunity to discover other Prague venues suitable for organising events of various types.

"Personally, I am very glad that Prague had the opportunity to host such an important international B2B MICE forum, which brought more than 80 representatives of international organisers of conferences and incentive events to our capital city. Especially after a two-year disruption of the entire industry caused by the coronavirus epidemic, it is now very important to show that Prague is fully ready to host events of various kinds, from congresses and conferences to incentive and high-end events. I was very pleased with the extremely positive feedback regarding the presented premises and the high quality of the service provided, and we would like to thank all the cooperating entities who participated in the preparations of The Meeting Space event," adds Roman Muška, Director of the Prague Convention Bureau, which became the main umbrella organisation of the event.

As such, the Prague Convention Bureau had the opportunity not only to participate in workshops with buyers, but also to participate in the organisation of the gala dinner, which took place in Rudolfinum. For a selected group of 40 buyers who stayed in Prague after the forum for a so-called post-tour, the Prague Convention Bureau hosted a networking dinner at the Mlýnec restaurant on Saturday, 25 February.

Apart from the above-mentioned partners, the following entities deserve special thanks for their cooperation in the preparation of the event: Prague City Tourism, Červený Jelen/Red Stag restaurant, QUIX, Zátiší Catering Group and Augustine Hotel.
