Continuous education is of paramount importance in our industry. CMPs, accreditation of all kinds, IAPCO seminars, MPI gatherings and many more are here to make sure planners deliver the best service and expertise they can. The problem is that these trainings can be pricey. That’s why the publisher of Headquarters, MIM Europe Magazine and www.meetingmediagroup.com recently launched the Meeting Media Group Foundation.

The initiative was made public at last year’s HeadQuarters Association Grand Ball, organised in Brussels and taking place every year. All the international associations invited to the Ball have been asked to make a donation to the foundation.

Its aim? To help young meeting professionals from emerging countries and economies - whether in Europe, Latin America, Africa or Asia - to benefit from a training and get better at what they do. Anybody can make a financial contribution – planners, associations, agencies, private companies, corporates, etc., and thus participate in the maturing of our industry.

This initiative is in direct line to the ECM Summer School, of which faculty Meeting Media Group is a member. Attending the upcoming edition in Vienna in August will provide with incisive insight into the structure and the functioning of the meetings industry. This is precisely what the Meeting Media Group Foundation aims for, as it is set to grow in the years to come.

More info at www.meetingmediagroup.com or drop by stand F652 at IMEX Frankfurt to discuss how you can chip in.
