Strategic Alliance Between MyCEB and MACEOS Set to Transform MBEW 2024

Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) and Malaysian Association of Convention & Exhibition Organisers & Suppliers (MACEOS) have announced the signing of a Strategic Partnership Agreement.

This collaboration signifies a major milestone for the 9th edition of Malaysia Business Events Week (MBEW) 2024, demonstrating our dedication to advancing a more inclusive and dynamic business events industry.

The signing ceremony, held in Putrajaya, highlighted the mutual commitment of both organisations to elevate the business events sector in Malaysia. By joining forces, MyCEB and MACEOS aim to deliver an even more impactful and comprehensive MBEW 2024.

Reflecting on this evolution, Mr. Azman Haji Tambi Chik, CEO of MyCEB, remarked, “This year’s MBEW is particularly significant for MyCEB. In the past, we facilitated the BE Xchange, allowing buyers and sellers to connect and conduct business. Recognising the need for a more integrated approach, we are thrilled to partner with our esteemed industry colleagues and have MACEOS lead this crucial segment.”

MACEOS has a total of 99 booths at the expo and currently, there are 81% take up for the expo, while MyCEB has secured 49 hosted buyers. Our goal is to ensure a vibrant and engaging event.

Scheduled from 19 to 21 August at KLCC, MBEW 2024 will feature the highly anticipated EVENTXPO 2024. Under the theme “Everything, Everywhere, Events!”, this expo promises to be a premier marketplace showcasing the latest in business events products, services, technology, trends, and insights.

Mr. Azman continued, “Our partnership with MACEOS is more than a strategic move; it reflects our commitment to innovation and excellence in the business events industry. We hope this collaboration will pave the way for an even bigger and better MBEW in the years to come, setting new industry standards.”

The event will also host the MACEOS National Youth Challenge, encouraging young talents to present their innovative business event ideas.
