Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) has announced a distinguished list of experienced and diverse global incentive travel leaders from 11 countries who will serve on the SITE International Board of Directors and SITE Foundation Board of Trustees effective 1 January 2018.
Annamaria Ruffini, CIS, CMP, president and CEO Events In & Out S.R.L., Rome, Italy will serve as president of the SITE International Board of Directors. “We strive to ensure that our board is globally-balanced and represents every region of the world, and I am proud to be serving with such a diverse, young and future-oriented group of industry leaders. I am especially humbled to kick off my presidency at the SITE + MPI Global Forum in Rome, the eternal city where it all began. As a Florentine, I believe that 2018 will be a “Renaissance” year for our European members and a great opportunity to grow our membership and influence in the region.”

John Iannini, CIS, CTC, vice-president meetings & events North America, Melia Hotels International will serve as SITE Foundation President. “This year the Foundation altered our approach to meet the demands of our members and the industry with a focus on igniting passion for incentive travel through knowledge sharing. In July, we introduced Motivate, a dynamic online intelligence hub that serves as a repository of content for the incentive travel industry. While research will continue to be an important component of what we do, our greatest opportunity is centered on creating compelling content for incentive professionals that is relevant timely and thought provoking. We are also committed to the development of new curriculum to enhance the knowledge and professional growth of our members in this ever-changing global environment.”

The Foundation recognizes and pays tribute to Denise Dornfeld, Martin Lewis and Michelle Samoulides who are retiring their positions on the board.
