Sabah Convention Bureau (SCB) welcomed Alcon Korea Ltd. as the first incentive group of 2026, bringing 130 delegates from South Korea to Kota Kinabalu from 13 to 18 January 2026 for the Alcon 2026 New Sales Management (NSM) Meeting.

Alcon is the world’s largest eye care device company, operating in over 60 countries and serving patients in more than 140 countries worldwide. The meeting brought together Alcon Korea’s sales leadership team to align strategy and prepare for the year ahead.

Delegates experienced a balanced programme combining business sessions and destination activities, including seminars, a gala dinner, island hopping, white-water rafting, cultural tours, and a firefly river cruise.

“It is our pleasure to welcome Alcon Korea as the first incentive group of 2026. Their selection of Kota Kinabalu highlights Sabah’s ability to provide both meaningful and professional incentive experiences,” said Noredah Othman, CEO of SCB.

Sabah offers an ideal balance of modern facilities, natural beauty and cultural richness, making it an engaging and rewarding programme for our delegates,” said a spokesperson for Alcon Korea Ltd.

In 2025, SCB supported 41 corporate meetings and incentive programmes, welcoming 10,551 delegates and generating positive economic impact across Sabah’s tourism and hospitality sectors. The successful hosting of Alcon Korea’s programme reinforces Sabah’s appeal to the North Asian incentive travel market.

Sabah Convention Bureau (SCB) is under the purview of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment Sabah. SCB is committed to positioning Sabah as a leading and sustainable business events (BE) destination—traditionally known as Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) at both national and international levels. Working in close collaboration with industry stakeholders, SCB supports the delivery of high-quality and sustainable business events while promoting Sabah’s distinctive natural and cultural attractions.
