Sarawak’s business events industry is set to make a powerful return at IMEX Frankfurt 2025 from 20-22 May 2025, solidifying its position as a top-tier, impact-driven business events destination.

The theme ‘Impact’ continues to be the talking point for IMEX Frankfurt this year, placing emphasis on uniting the global events community in addressing pressing challenges for economic, social and environmental issues.

Business Events Sarawak (BESarawak) is all geared up for this theme as the Sarawak Pavilion aligns perfectly with this mission, showcasing the industry’s commitment to driving social and economic impact through business events.

Key highlights at the Sarawak Pavilion include:

  • AI.LEGACY Intelligent Impact Management System

A pioneering tool developed in collaboration with Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), AI.LEGACY helps event planners measure and report the long-term impact of business events on communities, ensuring sustainable benefits.

  • Legacy360

A platform dedicated to advancing business event legacies, bringing together government officials, industry leaders, and community representatives to discuss strategies for economic, social, and environmental transformation.

  • Borneo Inspires Legacy Awards (BILA)

BILA recognises outstanding contributions in the business events sector, celebrating individuals and organisations that drive positive change in Sarawak’s communities through knowledge-sharing and economic development.
