Porto & North of Portugal Launched a New Travel Series

Preparing your next trip can be as easy as watching your favourite series. Follow the lead of the travel guide, Gabriel Najenson - better known as ‘Gabo The Guide’ - and discover Porto and the North of Portugal one episode at a time!

Porto & North Tourism Board has prepared a set of promotional films to take you on a complete and immersive journey to discover the best and most exclusive experiences through the regions of Porto, Minho, Douro and Trás-os-Montes.

The nine episodes of the Porto & North Travel Series will showcase the destination’s tourism offer in five different segments - namely Luxury & Lifestyle, Food & Wine, City Breaks, Heritage, and Nature - to better suit the different types of visitors.

Gabo’s journey starts off on a high note with a double episode dedicated to Luxury & Lifestyle. The guide visits the trendiest places in the region, indulges in the finest restaurants, and gets pampered with some of the most exclusive experiences that the region has to offer.

The series continues through the authentic flavours that tell a gastronomic story of each of these destinations. Whether it's the seafood and fresh fish from the Atlantic coast, the unique Vinho Verde from the historic DOC region, or the typical convent sweets, we guarantee that the menu will whet your appetite!

The series was launched this Summer at an event that took place at the newly opened Vinha Boutique Hotel, in Vila Nova de Gaia.

This initiative is further proof that Porto & North of Portugal Tourism Board continues to work on identifying opportunities in various markets, readjusting its offer to market trends and different tourist profiles. The region's tourism is making a strong investment to promote tourism through creative and original content, after the “Awakening” campaign at the beginning of June.
