The top mark for the Messe Frankfurt venues is the result of the regular customer survey which occurs after the events have been held.

2015 showed that our customers are very satisfied with our offer. This applies to both the venues as well as the service and, for us, this is an incentive to maintain this high level,” said Uwe Behm, Member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt.

Last year, Congress Frankfurt organised 148 events on the trade fair grounds and in the Kap Europa with a total of 125,000 participants. These included big international congresses such as the 68th CFA Institute Annual Meeting, the 14th European Security Conference & Exhibition ASIS and the 15th International Supercomputing Conference (ISC). “In a year in which there were many regular big trade fairs and our venues were booked almost all the time, we are very pleased with this result,” said Claudia Delius-Fisher, Director Congress Frankfurt.

In 2016 the international highlights will include the Annual Meeting of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The bank aims for an Asia and Pacific free from poverty. A further highlight is the 80th General Meeting of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The motto of this event: “Connecting communities – reinvent standardisation”. After New Delhi, Tokyo and Minsk, the general meeting will now be held in Frankfurt.

As evident success of the “Frankfurt Congress Ambassador” initiative which was launched in cooperation with the Frankfurt Convention Bureau, there will also be nine medical congresses in the Congress Center, Forum and Kap Europa, amongst others. These include the 42th Annual Meeting of the Society of Neonatology and Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine from June 02-04, the 67th Annual Meeting of the German Society of Neurosurgery (DGNC) from June 12-15 as well as the 44th Congress of the German Society for Rheumatology from September 01-03.
