General manager of the Associations Forum, Fatima Sunderji, said: “The Associations Forum’s mission is bringing associations together to share knowledge and best practice within the industry, through our range of member services and educational events. We are so thrilled to bring back physical events, and what better way to do this then by holding our 16th National Conference in Melbourne.”

Spanning across three storeys, the new venue has the capability to host all sizes and types of event from intimate dinners, and cocktail parties to conferences, galas or functions.

General manager of premier events & experiences Lara Burnes, added: “It’s been a long time coming – and the team and I are buzzing with excitement to welcome Australians, and guests from abroad. With CENTREPIECE located within our iconic Melbourne & Olympic Parks precinct, the new venue will also become the official media centre for the Australian Open 2022.

“So far, Melbourne & Olympic Parks has already welcomed over 250,000 guests across 60 event days in 2021, and we cannot wait to officially open the doors to CENTREPIECE. We look forward to helping our industry supercharge events for this year and beyond.”
