MCB is launching an international campaign today to convey that it’s good and above all safely conferencing in Maastricht & region. Now that the national government measures are allowing conferences and meetings with no limited number of attendees as of 1 July already, MCB is launching an international campaign that shows that the MCB and its regional partners are ready to welcome conferences again.

Maastricht is the ideal place to organize live, hybrid, or completely virtual conferences. It is a safe and compact city, and thanks to its central location in Europe it is a short and easy trip regardless of where you are traveling from.

‘Conferencing Safely in Maastricht Post COVID-19’
The campaign focuses on various elements that are important to conference organizers. For example, it is essential for these organizers that their conference attendees can interact safely and hygienically. Also for the City of Maastricht hygiene and safety is our highest priority, therefore the City of Maastricht has now implemented special COVID-19 protected pedestrian routes within the city center. As for conferencing, the Maastricht Exhibition & Conference Center (MECC) offers you adequate space and flexibility to perfectly organize business meetings while maintaining a social distance of 1.5 meters between attendees. Additionally, the Maastricht conference community offers virtual solutions, providing tailor-made audio-visual proposals that fit the program needs of every individual conference.

Targetgroup of this campaign
This campaign goes out to conference organizers in Europe and North America. MCB expects to appeal to a population of 1 million people within this market segment. Want to know more about this international campaign, check out the campaign page on our website here.
