Kenes Group, a leading Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) and Association Management Company (AMC), has announced a new strategic move towards a regional development of their Latin American operation. With medical and scientific congresses on the rise in the region, and many of Kenes’ international clients looking into LATAM for their periodic conferences, Kenes Group is pleased to announce it will grow its operation and presence in the region.

Latin America is a rapidly developing event centre with major destinations in Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru.  At the same time, local knowledge in the area of various sciences and healthcare expertise is being widely developed. These factors have both provided a nurturing environment for the development of local medical and scientific associations, which are becoming significant players in the international arena. With a number of first-time events sprouting quickly, it is evident that in order to keep the quality of the service provided and to be in close proximity to its clients, Kenes has to expand its local operation.

With the signing of four new contracts with local representatives, Kenes now has local operations in Argentina, Peru, Mexico, and Colombia. All four partners of Kenes – AV Business & Communication in Argentina, INC Group in Colombia, Andes DMC in Peru, and Groups2go in Mexico, are well-known in the region for their quality of service and strive for excellence.  “The goal of this partnership is the combination of Kenes bringing its global knowledge to Latin America, and each of our partners bringing their unrivalled local know-how and onsite operations. This provides a holistic approach to the planning of any regional or international event that needs assistance in meeting their targets, goals and objectives” said Iftah Amit, VP Global Sales & Marketing at Kenes Group.

The local representatives are strategically nominated through a set of criteria, where both parties can attest to each other’s service quality and know-how and benefit together from the extended network, knowledge, and connections of one another. Recently, the first Kenes Latin America Summit in Cancun, Mexico, provided initial training and strategy sessions. The summit is only the first step in enhancing the common activities in the region, where all partners’  can identify opportunities and manage relationships with local clients.
