jwc Appoints Daniel Mesfin as Managing Director Africa to Drive Regional Expansion

jwc has appointed Daniel Mesfin as Managing Director Africa, reinforcing the company’s strategic commitment to supporting the growth and transformation of the events industry across the African continent.


The newly created role will see Daniel Mesfin lead jwc’s business development activities throughout Africa, working closely with venue operators, governments, destinations, investors, exhibition organizers, and industry stakeholders to identify growth opportunities and deliver strategic consulting services tailored to the region’s rapidly evolving events sector.

Bringing extensive international experience in business development, strategic partnerships, and market expansion across Africa and the Middle East, Daniel Mesfin combines a strong regional network with deep market insight. He is set to play a key role in strengthening jwc’s footprint across the continent, supporting clients in the development of world-class exhibition and conference infrastructure, operational excellence, sustainable growth strategies, and destination development and marketing initiatives.
