This landmark collaboration agreement is a pivotal step in IFEMA MADRID's internationalisation strategy. It opens up exciting avenues for collaboration and promotion of trade fairs and events in Asia, marking a significant milestone in their journey.

The executive vice president of IFEMA MADRID, Daniel Martínez, and the CEO of Busan Exhibition & Convention Center (BEXCO), Soo Deuk Sohn, have signed a cooperation agreement whereby both trade fair operators will collaborate to promote and develop fairs and events on their premises.

The agreement between IFEMA MADRID, one of Europe's leading trade fair operators, and BEXCO, South Korea’s top exhibition and convention centre, will also establish strategic alliances to foster and increase business opportunities among both operators' customers and promote Madrid and Busan in each other’s countries.

As part of this partnership, IFEMA MADRID and BEXCO will venture into new business opportunities. This includes the potential to co-organise events in key technical sectors such as aerospace, drone technology, robotics, independent mobility, and geospatial mobility, among others, which are currently at the forefront of the global economic landscape.

For IFEMA MADRID, this represents a new milestone in its internationalisation strategy, so far developed mainly in Latin America in collaboration with important trade fair operators on the continent, to explore new projects and means of business collaboration in Asia.
