ICCA and Beijing Capital Group Partner to Launch New CIBEP Certification

ICCA has entered into a significant partnership with Beijing Capital Group Exhibitions & Events to jointly develop a new three-tier professional education certification designed specifically for China’s rapidly expanding business events industry.

The Certified International Business Events Professional (CIBEP) programme will introduce global benchmarks, essential sector knowledge, and hands-on competencies to rising and mid-level professionals across China. By merging ICCA’s international know-how with locally adapted insights, case studies and practical examples created by Beijing Capital Group Exhibitions & Events, the initiative seeks to strengthen the talent pipeline and advance the long-term growth of China’s business events environment.

Beijing Capital Group Exhibitions & Events will produce additional content customised for the Chinese market and oversee the design, implementation and promotion of the programme.
