Get Local has partnered with Saxton Speakers Bureau to secure an exceptional line up of speakers for the 2021 expo education program, with a particular focus on self-belief, resilience and the latest information on health and wellbeing as we continue to navigate through the COVID pandemic.

Confirmed speakers include game-changing entrepreneur Lisa Messenger, host of the Health Report and the daily ABC podcast Coronacast, Dr Norman Swan, and adventurer, presenter and master storyteller, Caroline Pemberton (pictured below).

Get Local, being held at ICC Sydney 29-30 July 2021, will provide corporate end-users, in-house meeting planners, association meeting planners, EAs, PAs, and training companies, the opportunity to hear and learn from these presenters, as well as discover the very latest domestic offerings for meetings and events across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.

Anne Jamieson, CEO, Saxton Speakers Bureau, commented on the partnership: “We’re pleased to be working in partnership with Get Local. The event embodies what we at Saxton have always been about: driving positive change through the power of stories and experience.

“Get Local is a key event to ensuring the industry and its people focus on opportunity, recovery and growth. We have carefully curated speakers for Get Local who will share stories to inspire, motivate and encourage,” said Ms Jamieson.

The education program will feature:

  • Author and game-changing founder and CEO of Collective Hub, Lisa Messenger, released her 28th book – Work from Wherever - How to Set Yourself Free (and Still Achieve) – detailing, in her classically candid style, how the big-thinking founder of the Collective Hub has rebounded and rebranded after breaking and remaking the business of her dreams. Lisa’s session will be about cultivating killer self-belief, finding passion and purpose, thinking big and going global, strategic partnerships, building a brand and investing in yourself.
  • Dr Norman Swan is regarded as Australia’s most respected health journalist, broadcaster and commentator, and one of the most trusted voices in the country on coronavirus. His session will share the latest on the virus and what the future may hold.
  • Television presenter and producer, Caroline Pemberton, has made a mark for herself capturing audiences on the small screen, specialising in travel, lifestyle, adventure and wellness. Caroline will emcee the education program and provide insights into her session titled ‘The Power of Storytelling & Why Your Content Marketing Sux.’

Seats for these presentations are strictly limited, for more information visit: www.getlocalexpo.com.au
