Madrid’s International Tourism Trade Fair, FITUR, has succeed once again to bring together the worldwide business and leisure tourism industry. Held at IFEMA from January 28 to February 1, 2015, this year’s edition has closed up with over 125,000 professional visitors, and a rise of 12% international professionals and 5% domestic visitors over the previous year. The tourism industry has obviously a great capacity to grow and adapt despite the current economic situation.
Meeting Media Company flew to Madrid and could feel the vibe of the fair during 3 days. We had the opportunity to meet people from many different countries, especially from the Americas and Spain. IFEMA created the perfect atmosphere to meet in person all kinds of exhibitors and to network. Each and every country could show what they offer in terms of meetings and incentives destinations, hotels, venues, etc. All this accompanied by traditional beverages and food tastings to suit all tastes!
Last but not least, being the first international gathering of 2015 for the tourism industry, FITUR gives an accurate idea of what to expect for the rest of the year: new products, services and destinations… Sounds very promising!
