After 10 consecutive years in Sweden, the Nordic Life Science Days congress will, for the first time, move to Copenhagen in 2023.

Cementing its position as a Nordic leader within life science, Copenhagen has won the bid to host Nordic Life Science Days (NLSDays) in 2023. The congress, which is the largest partnering event in Scandinavia, is expected to attract more than 1,500 delegates from over 40 countries.

The win is the result of a year-long, close collaboration between Medicon Valley Alliance, Copenhagen Capacity, Copenhagen Municipality, Bella Center, and Wonderful Copenhagen, and it is a testament to the Capital Region’s strong focus on life science. The region is home to one of Europe’s strongest life science clusters that includes a string of well-renowned companies and cutting-edge projects such as ReproUnion and the Life Science Lighthouse.

“NLSDays is one of the most important Nordic partnering congresses, and we are very proud and excited to share that it will be held in Copenhagen in 2023. It is an acknowledgement of Life Science as a stronghold of the Capital Region and the importance of the many life science companies and projects here,” says Bettina Reventlow Mourier, Deputy Convention Director, Wonderful Copenhagen.

“We look forward to collaborating with SwedenBio and the many NLSDays stakeholders to create mutual growth and positive impact for all parties involved,” concludes Bettina Reventlow Mourier.

The conference will take place at Copenhagen’s Bella Center from 29 to 30 November 2023.
