Conference Organisers in Shanghai Get Certified

On January 5, the list of Shanghai's first "Conference Organizers in Compliance with Management & Service Standards of the Meetings Industry" was released. Thirteen meetings management and service organizations have passed the evaluation in compliance with applicable standards, and with the approval of Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administration, have obtained the "Shanghai Conference Service Standard Organization" certificate issued by the M.I.C.E. Service Standards Technical Committee of Shanghai Tourism Standards Technical Committee.

The management and service standards of the meetings industry provides important technical support to the development of the tourism industry, is an important way to manage and supervise the tourism market and the meetings industry, improve services, promote the restructuring of the tourism industry, enhance the international competitiveness of Shanghai`s meetings service industry, and build Shanghai into a world famous tourist destination.
