Today, Business Events Perth is proud to announce the 2025 Aspire Award recipients, representing excellence across each of the program’s partner categories in recognition of Western Australia’s leading researchers, academics and professionals.
For more than two decades, the Aspire Awards have provided Western Australian experts with opportunities to share knowledge, connect and collaborate with industry leaders at business events around the globe. The program highlights Western Australian expertise on an international stage and creates pathways for these events to be hosted in our State in future years.
The Aspire Awards support Western Australian researchers, academics and professionals to attend an international business event for their professional development. Successful recipients receive travel funding to attend a conference of their choice, providing the opportunity to connect with peers, showcase their discoveries and strengthen global engagement.
The program not only supports the professional growth of its recipients but also plays a vital role in attracting major business events to Western Australia. By attending international conferences, Aspire recipients showcase the State’s expertise, build valuable networks and foster collaborations that can ultimately bring future events and their global audiences to our shores. These conferences help diversify Western Australia’s research strengths, raise the profile of local conveners and create new opportunities for trade and investment.
After a highly competitive selection process reviewing more than 90 applications, Business Events Perth is proud to recognise eleven recipients who have demonstrated exceptional innovation, dedication to discovery and a shared commitment to creating a legacy for Western Australia.
