Tangla Hotels and Resorts International, a company duly registered in Hong Kong, is the professional, international hotel management arm of the HNA Hospitality Group. HNA Hospitality Group’s investment in Brussels was motivated by the establishment in Belgium of Hainan Airlines, the Group’s airline. Hainan Airlines already operates regular flights between Brussels and Beijing. The return of the Brussels-Shanghai flight route as from May will make the connection between China and Belgium remarkable in the foreseeable future.
Tangla takes its origin from a beautiful legend in the Tanggula (Dangla) Mountains, painting a gorgeous picture of man and nature co-existing in harmony. The legend explains: “The Tanggula rises up into the skies high, majestic and released ; three rivers offer abundance along their way.”
Tangla Brussels is designed by the award winning agency Hirsch Bedner Associates.
It is a 5* property offering 187 stylish decorated bedrooms and suites and several meeting rooms. In total 6 very sophisticated meeting and event spaces offer a maximum flexibility : from the 440 m2 Imperial ballroom with a 6 m high ceiling to the Royal Room which can be divided into three separate spaces. There are also two elegant private boardrooms. The Imperial Ballroom can accommodate up to 400 persons in theatre style, 380 for a banquet and 420 for a cocktail. The Royal Room : 322 in theatre style ; 305 banquet ; 339 cocktail. The two boardrooms can host respectively 8 and 6 persons. Alongside the meeting and event facilities, Tangla Hotel Brussels offers a very large wooden deck terrace as well as a pre-function area.
Beyond the contemporary all-day dining restaurant "Le Cinq" and the “T” lounge bar, Tangla Hotel Brussels also features a traditional Chinese gastronomic restaurant “Tang Dynasty”, showcasing the finest Cantonese cuisine.
By early 2017, there will be a truly sumptuous 1,000 m2 Spa and Wellness area featuring an indoor swimmlng pool and fitness centre.
