Australasian event management company, Arinex, has marked its 50th anniversary by launching a refreshed brand with new logo, and paying tribute to its visionary founder.
The brand was unveiled to over 250 Arinex clients, past and current staff, partners and industry leaders at its 50th anniversary celebration at the ICC Sydney on Friday, 12 May.
Arinex Managing Director, Nicole Walker, said the refreshed brand would take the company forward into the next 50 years.
"Arinex has a proud history of delivering exceptional event solutions for our clients around the world. Our refreshed brand stays true to our legacy while emphasising our commitment to innovation, creativity and connection,” Ms Walker said.
Having built a reputation as a leader in the business events industry, Arinex has maintained its core brand hallmarks, including its signature pink colour.
“Our new logo is a symbol of our vision for the future – to continue building genuine connection and success stories for our clients through inspiring experiences. It features a modern design that reflects our progressive outlook,” Ms Walker said.
“The simplified tagline, ‘Inspiring Experiences’ emphasises our passion for delivering on our clients’ ambitions.”
In addition to the new brand, Arinex' 50th anniversary event was a celebration of its achievements, showcased through photos, video and memorabilia on display.
Arinex has provided services for various notable events over the years, including over 60 events for the 1988 Australian Bicentenary, 1995 Global Cultural Diversity Conference, Corroboree 2000, BHP’s Corporate Hospitality Program for Sydney 2000 Olympics, LNG12 and LNG18, and many other key national and international scientific and medical conferences.
The company pioneered technological and sustainability advancements. It was the first to process conference registrations and abstracts over the internet using event management software in the late 1990s, and in 2022, it became Australia's first event management company to achieve carbon neutral certification.
In the 1980s, Arinex Founder Roslyn McLeod (seated centre) led her company’s growth by creating unforgettable events for international audiences.
A major focus of the event was to pay tribute to Roslyn McLeod OAM, who founded the company in 1973 and remained at the helm until 2021.
Roslyn reflected on her career journey spanning over 20,000 days, honouring her mentors and networks gained along the way. She adhered to simple philosophies of integrity and enthusiasm, never poaching staff from competitors but introduced new recruits to the industry providing training, structure, coaching and experience.
Over 50 years, the company gradually evolved with the times, adopting technology and new strategies to maximise success for clients.
“In business events, we talk a lot about legacy. The best legacy to come out of 50 years is the relationships and friends created and maintained. I have run my race and I now leave the company in the capable hands of Nicole Walker,” Roslyn McLeod OAM said.
