The Association of Event Organisers (AEO) has renewed its strategic partnership with InEvexco, reinforcing its commitment to providing members with access to specialist insurance expertise at a time when effective risk management is more critical than ever for the business events industry.

Now entering its fifth year, the partnership sees InEvexco continue as AEO’s exclusive insurance partner. The collaboration ensures that member organisations across the UK events sector benefit from tailored insurance solutions, expert claims support and ongoing guidance in navigating an increasingly complex risk landscape.

As part of the renewed agreement, InEvexco will deliver dedicated member support alongside a programme of thought leadership, educational workshops and practical guidance integrated into AEO’s events and communications calendar. Members will also gain valuable insight into emerging risks — from cancellation and liability exposure to evolving contractual requirements with venues and suppliers — enabling more informed decision-making throughout the event planning cycle.

Following its integration into Gallagher in mid-2025, InEvexco now operates as a specialist team within one of the world’s largest insurance brokerages, further strengthening its market leverage for the benefit of clients.

Anna Golden, chief executive of the Association of Event Organisers, said: "Event organisers have faced an extraordinary range of disruptions over the past few years - from global shutdowns to geopolitical uncertainty and extreme weather. If anything, that period has shown just how exposed the industry can be, and having a partner who genuinely understands that is essential."

Mark Blair, executive director at InEvexco, added: "Through working closely with AEO members, we have seen first-hand that the organisers who manage risk most effectively treat insurance as a strategic tool, not an afterthought. Our ambition for this next phase of the partnership is to make that thinking accessible to every AEO member, regardless of the size or scale of their events.”

The renewal also reflects AEO’s broader strategy of collaborating with partners that bring genuine sector expertise, rather than generic services — an increasingly important distinction as members look for practical, trusted support in building resilient and sustainable events businesses.
