In troubled times more than ever, (international) non-profit organisations (hereafter: “NPOs”) fulfil a pivotal role for their members. While fulfilling this role, competition law enforcement shall remain rigorous and be kept as a priority by the NPOs. Indeed, competition law infringements may result in hefty fines, but they will very likely also entail reputational damage, serious disruption of operations and uncertainty for both the NPO and its members. Nevertheless, due to the increasing challenges and the complexity of regulatory environment faced by most industries, competition law compliance can be perceived as difficult. EY Law has designed this seminar to assist NPOs to overcome this difficulty by first providing them with essential groundwork for the understanding of competition law.
Subsequently, the speakers will assess relevant competition law issues NPOs may often encounter and propose practical solutions to help NPOs and their members navigate towards competition law compliance. This seminar will offer a unique pragmatic approach and be tailored for the non-profit sector. Register here
