WTM London is expanding opportunities for students and recent graduates to engage with the travel industry through complimentary summit tickets, free student memberships and discounted admission to this year’s event.
The trade show, powered by RX Global, is continuing its longstanding partnership with ITT Future You, part of the Institute of Travel and Tourism (ITT). Since 2009, the two organisations have co-hosted a dedicated forum for students and graduates as part of WTM London’s conference programme.
The 2026 ITT Future You Summit will take place on Thursday 5 November, from 10:00 to 12:30, in the Maritime Suite, George V Room 1. The session will bring together students and industry professionals for insights into the travel sector, career advice, networking opportunities and interactive discussions. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore career pathways and gain a better understanding of the future of global travel.
To support participation, WTM London has made 300 summit tickets available free of charge through ITT Future You. A limited number of places remain, with students and recent graduates in travel, tourism, aviation and hospitality advised to contact their institution’s careers or placement office to enquire about availability.
The initiative also includes a partnership with the Tourism Society, which is offering 49 complimentary student memberships alongside the ticket programme, ahead of the organisation’s 50th anniversary in 2027.
“We are delighted to be partnering with WTM in 2026”. Commented Alison Cryer MBE, Executive Secretary, “The purpose of the Tourism Society is to promote careers in Tourism across all sectors, and this collaboration will go a long way in doing this”.
In addition to the limited allocation of complimentary summit tickets, WTM London is offering students admission to the event on Thursday 5 November for £10. Universities can contact their relevant associations to enquire about complimentary student tickets or approach WTM Customer Services to request a group student booking link at the discounted rate.
Chris Carter-Chapman, Event Director of WTM London, said: “Today’s students and recent graduates are the future of the travel industry, and WTM has a moral obligation to make sure that they are not only welcomed into the industry at the earliest stages of their career but also factored in to our conference programme.
“We’re proud of our long-term partnerships with ITT Tourism Society and long may it continue”.
Through these initiatives, WTM London is seeking to strengthen the connection between education and the travel industry, giving emerging professionals opportunities to meet established figures, explore career options and engage with developments shaping the sector.
