The Centre International de Conférences d'Alger (CICA) has confirmed that The 15th International Energy Forum (IEF) will take place at the centre from 26th to 28th September 2016. Last held in Moscow in 2014, the 750 international delegates will include Energy ministers from 72 countries.

Hosted by the Government of Algeria, this 15th IEF will be the first event of its kind to be held at the CICA, which is scheduled to open officially in late 2016. The centre will be a first-class state of the art international conference center that will house meeting rooms, a banquet hall seating over 2000 guests, exhibition halls, restaurants, retail space, parking facilities and a multipurpose auditorium that will accommodate 6,000 delegates.

The total capacity of the CICA is approximately 10,000 people and the configuration of the space allows the CICA to host multiple events at the same time. CICA will for sure put Algiers on the map as a premier conference destination in North Africa and the Middle East.

Paul D’Arcy, CEO CICA announced; We look forward to welcoming the 15th International Energy Forum to the Centre International de Conférences d'Alger CICA in September 2016. The IEF is the main energy organisation, whose 72 member countries account for almost 90% of world oil and gas supply and demand. Algeria has been a member of OPEC since 1969 and CICA is a perfect venue for such a prestigious and important event.
