Mercedes Benz is organising a training event in Ibiza for more than 13,000 people.
Automotive brand Mercedes-Benz has chosen Ibiza as the venue for an international meeting due to start in February next year and expected to attract more than 13,000 people to the island, including sales and post-sales personnel.
Mercedes-Benz has chosen to hold its events in several hotels in the Palladium chain, such as the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel and Grand Palladium Palace, all of which are 5-star hotels based in the popular Playa d'en Bossa area.
Ibiza's first-class infrastructure and its excellent climate at that time of year were decisive in Mercedes-Benz's decision to choose Ibiza to stage its biggest worldwide training event in 2018. Training sessions will also be held in the FECOEV trade fair complex.
This event confirms the island's commitment to events and meetings tourism and its ability to host this kind of meeting in the low season, deseasonalising the island and generating a major impact on Ibiza's economy.
Other brands like Audi, Volkswagen and SEAT have all chosen to stage world-class events on the island in the past, highlighting the many attractions and facilities Ibiza offers for events and meetings.
