PCMA’s two 2018 European Knowledge Exchange events in November will feature industry leaders discussing how the business events industry can leverage disruptive technologies and create event experiences that drive economic and social progress.

The “Brand Purpose & Experience Design” event will be held on 23 November 2018 at Andaz Hotel in London in collaboration with ICE Talks. Jose Luis Lanchas, Director of Global Events at SAP, and Amy Funderburk, Senior Director Brand Strategy at SAP, will lead the discussion on how to integrate community advancement and event experiences to serve a greater brand purpose. The session will explore engagement channels that can amplify business events.

“Leveraging Disruptive Technology to Enhance Your Events” will take place on 28 November 2018 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via in Barcelona as part of IBTM World. James Morgan from Event Tech Lab will take attendees through the latest event technologies available and get them thinking about technologies best suited for their business goals and ambitions.

Luca Favetta, PCMA Regional Business Director, EMEA, said: “We invite meeting and event professionals to join PCMA in London and Barcelona for two topical sessions aimed to bring immediate value to their business, and be inspired by our presenting experts and participating peers alike. With these two sessions, we’ll conclude our series of events in Europe, however, we’re already working to deliver an exciting 2019 education programme inspired by industry professionals from Europe, for Europe.”

PCMA Knowledge Exchanges are complimentary regionalised education and networking programmes aimed at sparking new ideas, establishing business connections and providing valuable takeaways for participants.
