While Israeli citizens are wondering if they will be asked to take the ballots boxes for the third time in one year and pay billions of shekels for yet another elections campaign, representatives of the Israeli MICE industry are working hard at trade conventions to attract international investments to Israel in general and to Jerusalem, our capital, in particular.
The IBTM conference taking place in Barcelona is a forum that seeks to promote Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) through collaborations between production companies, tourism agencies, trade associations, event organizers, and naturally, convention centers. Attended by delegates from all parts of the world, IBTM also hosts representatives of Israel Ministry of Tourism, as well as a pavilion of the International Convention Center – ICC Jerusalem, the leading Israeli venue for international meetings. The CEO of ICC Jerusalem, Mira Altman, welcomes the visitors to the pavilion, representing the congress tourism of Israel in the most patriotic and professional manner. Based on her extensive experience, she appreciates the contribution of international conventions to the Israeli economy.
