With around 320 events each year, the Hofburg Vienna conference centre is one of the major players on the Austrian and international market. Scientific congresses and a series of high-level conferences will shape the autumn and the year ahead, underpinning the role played by the Hofburg as a unique venue on the Ringstrasse boulevard. The Hofburg Vienna is a master in the art of putting on a show, as reflected in the use of its historic setting and modern design elements to bring out the best in the events it hosts.

A strong line-up this autumn demonstrates the sheer versatility of the Hofburg Vienna as a venue, with a series of popular public fairs and glittering galas among the highlights. From January to September 2015 the international congress centre hosted 40 conferences and meetings. One of them, the "Pioneers Festival", invited its participants to join in the world's largest start-up challenge and has already confirmed it will be returning on 24-25 May 2016 for the next instalment. This event yet again proves that for all its history and traditions, the Hofburg Vienna is a forward-looking venue equipped with cutting-edge technology.

The building's architecture reflects its cultural identity, helping to transform the events that it hosts into aesthetic experiences that leave a lasting impression on delegates from all over Austria and the rest of the world. It tells a unique story that sets it apart from the vast majority of its competitors. At the Hofburg Vienna new forms of communication and event formats take centre stage. To keep pace with increasing demand for customisation, the venue offers modular set-ups and multifunctional options for individual rooms. The aim is to create visionary spaces and offer participants an integrated communication experience. "High-quality products deserve a truly first-class setting. Organisers want to find effective ways of stage managing their content and promoting knowledge transfer," explained Managing Director Alexandra Kaszay.

This is reflected in the schedule for 2016, which promises to be yet another successful year for conferences and meetings. The second half of the year will have a distinctly medical feel to it thanks to large-scale events such as the "Austrian Dentists' Congress", which will be attended by more than 1,200 dental experts from 22-24 September 2016, and the "Dermatologists' Meeting" which will attract around 700 medical specialists from 25-27 November.

Thanks to its responsive design, the Hofburg Vienna website www.hofburg.com gives an insight into the kinds of events that the centre can stage, as well as an intuitive overview of the rooms and halls for 50-4,900 people.
