On occasion of the Vitrina Turística, an annual event organised by ANATO (the Colombian Association of Travel Agencies and Tourism Operators), the authorities officially announced that FIEXPO Latin America would be held in Colombia in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
In the presence of high local and international authorities, foreign delegations and international media, the Deputy Minister of Tourism of Colombia, Mr. Juan Pablo Franky and the Directors of FIEXPO Latin America, Arnaldo Nardone and Sergio Baritussio, announced that this event, which is the most important trade show of the meetings market in Latin America and the Caribbean, was to take place in Cartagena de Indias in 2020, in Medellin in 2021 and in Bogota in 2022.
The authorities of FIEXPO, together with the ministerial authorities and those of ProColombia and the convention bureaus of the host cities, agreed on the significance of this agreement for Colombia and as for FIEXPO Latin America, as the country would be hosting this very important event for three years in a row. The event also includes the well-known Latin American Political Forum on Meetings Tourism, in addition to a broad range of training activities.
The next edition of FIEXPO Latin America will take place in Santiago de Chile, from June 10 to 12 this year.
