Follow its most successful year to date, the Barbican Business Events team has announced extra dates in the Barbican Hall, which has a capacity of 2,000. It is ideal for large scale corporate and association conferences and AGMs.
“We have smashed our sales targets this year,” comments Oliver Hargreaves, Head of Sales at the Barbican, “and with our renewed focus on the association market following the appointment of Jamie Ades as Head of Associations, it was vital we continue to develop our offering. A fundamental part of the support and strategy we are putting behind that role is the release of more dates for large event bookings.""
The Barbican Hall is the venue’s largest space and its usage is shared between the Barbican’s commercial and artistic offering.
Newly available dates for corporate and association bookers include:
· January 2019 – 14 / 15
· January 2019 – 21 / 22
· July 2019 – 22 / 23 / 24 / 25 / 26
Oliver concludes: “We are constantly seeking new ways to support our clients. We recognise that the use of the Barbican Hall is key for many. We are lucky to be one of the worlds leading arts and cultural hubs, which adds so much value to our events as clients benefit from being in such a creative environment. The more we can bring our commercial and artistic offering together, the better it is for everyone.”
