Austria’s largest conference centre increases investment in maintenance and upgrades. New networking areas, contemporary furnishings and one of the most technologically advanced lighting systems in Europe work their magic on the centre’s clients.

Experience networking, feel connected

Facilitating networking between participants is a top priority at the Austria Center Vienna, and with the state-of-the-art Business Lounge they have created a new space ideally suited for one-on-one discussions. The lounge offers 135 workspaces and opportunities to relax, work and network. Thanks to the adjoining Café MOTTO, a traditional Viennese coffeehouse, it is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious Viennese melange coffee with a mini Guglhupf cake or a savoury snack.

New furniture creates feelgood environment

Comfortable, high-quality seating is a must. Which is why the seating in all rooms and halls will be replaced over the coming months, and new banquet and conference tables brought in. “Presented in an elegant shade of white, the furnishings help to create a fresh, feelgood atmosphere, while our multifunctional pieces are the perfect complement to innovative new event formats for conferences and banquets,” explained Susanne Baumann-Söllner, CEO of Austria Center Vienna.

Experience one of Europe’s most advanced lighting systems

Working closely with the winner of the 2014 German Prize for Lighting Design, the Austria Center Vienna team has installed one of the most technologically advanced lighting systems in Europe in the centre’s largest hall, which can accommodate up to 4,320 participants. Thanks to four lighting levels, the lighting mood can be adjusted to reflect the situation and setting, providing the ideal lighting conditions for the event as well as accentuating different aspects of the venue’s unique architecture.
