Brightelm has announced the launch of "Evolve," an extraordinary conference specifically designed to share best practice processes that you can use and the latest innovative approaches being used by the most ambitious, innovative and disruptive events professionals.

The conference with a difference will take place on February 9th at the prestigious QEII Centre in London. The purpose of this one day event is to equip everyone involved in staging industry events with the knowledge, tools, and inspiration they need to delight the people they represent in their own industries.

Uniquely different to other events serving the membership sector

Originally initiated by Rob Eveleigh (cover photo), a leader in event management solutions for associations, he has been joined by other experienced individuals who share his ambition to provide a regular not to be missed event that attracts whole teams of association professionals for this training come conference come industry celebration event.

“This one-day conference and exclusive party promises to be a game-changer for event organisers. Behind closed doors associations will be able to swap notes, discuss, resolve and bypass the challenges that are common to all membership organisations while living and experiencing the latest innovations in programme design, sustainable registration and the embodiment of the best EDI practices,” said Rob Eveleigh, MD of Brightelm.

Featuring a diverse lineup of facilitators and speakers, the innovative agenda designed for three levels of association professionals; leaders, managers and those starting out.

Designed by experienced and well networked industry experts, and successful event organisers who have revolutionised the way we plan and execute events. These thought leaders will share their insights, experiences, and actionable strategies to empower attendees with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the changing landscape of the event industry.

Nika Kurent, Head of Events at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Ciarb) and Evolve Advisory Board Member is excited at the prospect of bringing the industry together: “Events professionals and events teams (in associations) are facing numerous challenges: declining numbers of in-person events, a plethora of virtual event technology, a shift from content driven to engagement driven events, sustainability and accessibility of events, and many others. This one-day conference is a welcome platform for all of us to come together, discuss, learn from each other, and I only wish it had happened 12 or 24 months ago, as it would bring tremendous value to me, my team and the whole association”.

Attendees can expect a comprehensive agenda that covers a wide range of topics, including:

  • Harnessing emerging technologies for event success

  • Crafting memorable attendee experiences

  • Building sustainable and eco-friendly events

  • Leveraging data analytics to drive event ROI

  • Navigating event marketing in the digital age

  • Creating inclusive and diverse events

  • Event logistics and operations best practice

Topics will be covered via interactive experiential workshops, panel discussions, keynote presentations and innovative facilitated networking sessions. Attendees will have the chance to engage with fellow event organisers, share ideas, and forge meaningful connections that will enhance their professional growth.

"We are incredibly excited to introduce Evolve to the event industry," said Rob Eveleigh. "In today's fast-paced world, event organisers are being asked to deliver the same or more usually on less resources. Add the unique challenges that governance structures shape, they require innovative solutions, shortcuts and pre-proven processes to deliver excellence and keep their minds”.

Headline sponsors QEII explain why they got behind this event: “Evolve will bring together the brightest minds in the industry that I usually have to travel to meet. Fostering collaboration and sparking new ideas that will shape the future of event planning” said Mark Green, UK & European Business Development Manager, QEII.

Associate sponsors ExCel London are excited at the prospect of supporting and attending Evolve: “We are delighted to support the Evolve conference taking place in February 2024 in London. This is an opportunity for our association clients and their professional conference organiser partners to focus on key topics that define a successful conference outcome. It is also a unique platform for strengthening and making new connections in our professional network” said Samantha Shamkh, Head of Conventions, ExCeL London.

Registration is limited to 150 people. For more information about the conference, including the agenda, speakers, and registration details, please visit the official Evolve website
