The Tourism New Zealand Business Events team closed out its 2025 financial year hitting record bid targets enabled by a $3m government funding boost announced in March 2025.
This achievement marks a 29% increase in bid submissions compared to the same period last year, with a total of 391 bids submitted year-to-date and a conversion rate of 64%, up from 58% in H1 2024.
