ICC Sydney’s new products, expanded services and upskilled, match fit team raise the bar to help you deliver enhanced world class events. As the world class team continues to deliver on its ‘more than a venue’ promise, Headquarters highlights five key factors that have events flocking back to ICC Sydney:

#1 Expanded networking opportunities

With ICC Sydney’s new outdoor packages, Connect Outdoors, event organisers can integrate more face-to-face networking opportunities within their event programmes while making the most of the venue’s open air spaces overlooking picturesque views of the iconic harbour and Sydney skyline. Connect Outdoors, delivered in partnership with event stylist Divine Events, includes a range of meeting options featuring local food, wine and beverages backed by exceptional service from the in house team of experts, all set within the venue's ample and ambient outdoor spaces.

Event organisers can also elevate the attendee experience by connecting delegates to Australian culture and community. Options include building in a tour of ICC Sydney’s impressive large format art collection featuring over 30 works by celebrated First Nations and Australian artists, heading outside for a guided precinct tour with an Aboriginal Elder sharing knowledge of the Indigenous heritage surrounding the harbourside venue, or connecting with local entrepreneurs through Sydney’s startup ecosystem. The team continually adds to its groundbreaking Legacy Program with new partnerships and broadened experiences offering event organisers even more avenues to reach their event corporate social responsibility objectives.

#2 Digital Concierge to hybrid events

ICC Sydney’s team of in house experts and industry-leading tech solutions are boosting industry confidence in hybrid event services. Organisers are now supported by a Digital Concierge through Connect Hub, a one-stop speaker preparation and digital event solutions hub, which makes complex programme delivery of both onsite and virtual presenters simple. Connect Hub also includes access to ICC Sydney Connect, a digital event software platform, which includes the venue’s media studios for broadcast events, a video edit suite and digital signage management.

#3 Experienced, match fit team

At the heart of this evolved offering is ICC Sydney’s world class, experienced team. Having guided clients through the pandemic, the team also upskilled to support the return of face-to-face meetings under the venue's EventSafe Operating Guide. The team delivers unrivalled experiences and exceptional events, understanding the unique needs of event organisers and attendees.

#4 A destination with beauty and brains

Sydney is a global commercial and cultural destination. Beyond stunning beaches, great food and wine, and the world’s finest harbour, the city boasts 700+ international flights per week, 40 museums and galleries and 162 theatres. Situated in its own bustling precinct, ICC Sydney is only 20 minutes’ drive from Sydney Airport, within walking distance of multiple transport links, close to more than 42,000 hotel rooms and neighbours the city’s new financial services district at Barangaroo.

#5 A global city

What defines a global, innovative city? A city that measures up across a range of social, economic, environmental and cultural indicators including business dexterity, intellectual capital, business and social infrastructure and of course, a desirable lifestyle. Sydney delivers on all of these aspects, from its connectivity to the world, its financial and technology districts through to its multicultural and creative communities. With five million people, Sydney continues to expand, creating new innovation and arts precincts and growing existing ones. Given ICC Sydney’s position at the heart of the city’s innovation ecosystem and its diverse and talented community, the venue is perfectly placed to support business meetings and events.
