The Russian Convention Bureau - the new instrument of promotion Russia as a business- and investments-friendly country

The Russian Convention Bureau (The National Convention Bureau Association) was established in November 2017. The founders of the organisation were: the Roscongress Foundation, the Russian Export Center (REC), International Foundation of Technology and Investment (IFTI), R&C Market Research Company.

The Russian Convention Bureau is a ‘one-stop-shop’ for potential organisers and buyers selecting destination countries for their events. Its key goal is to form, support and promote Russia as a business- and investments-friendly country through development of the national events industry and attracting international events in the country. Furthermore, the Russian Convention Bureau performs as a centre that accumulates the industry-specific marketing information. In performance of its coordination function, the Russian Convention Bureau cooperates closely with regional congress bureaux. The Russian Convention Bureau engage in diverse international industry events and associations, represent various destinations and infrastructure capacities of Russian regions at the unified show bench of Russia. All the efforts and activities of the Russian Convention Bureau are aimed at promoting Russia as an attractive destination for investments, international congress and exhibition events and business development and develop national events industry.
