The Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau’s (TCEB) decision earlier this year to invest in Australia with in-market destination specialists Clockwise Consulting is paying dividends with positive feedback received at the soft launch of its new 2018 promotional campaign.

A preview of the 2018 MICE packages was held with a select group of MICE buyers invited to a luncheon at Long Chim Restaurant in both Sydney and Melbourne with overwhelmingly positive feedback for the three tier programme offered for both conferences and incentive groups.

The program’s tiers are based on delegate numbers and with a minimum three-night stay required in Thailand.  It includes financial incentives as well as a menu of experiential and ease of travel offerings available for selection – all designed to enhance the delegate experience.  The timing couldn’t be better with Thai Airways release of group fares offering more flexible conditions.

Additionally, Thailand has recognised five economic growth industries and alignment with one of these genres is acknowledged within the 2018 MICE promotional program.

Thailand is more committed than ever to attract Australian groups whether they’re seeking a backdrop of the excitement of bustling Bangkok, the coastal beauty of Koh Samui or the culture rich Chiang Mai” said Clockwise Consulting’s Nicole Tingey.

The preview presentations we conducted recently with Buffalo Events in Sydney and Melbourne served to highlight not only the fantastic benefits being offered by TCEB, but also extensive the cross section of unique experiences available to delegates.

Thailand, famed for its charm, diverse culture and world-famous hospitality and friendliness offers a perfect solution for Australian businesses and organisations seeking an easy, economical and memorable destination. The choice is now an even easier decision with the fantastic 2018 promotional packages and with Clockwise Consulting being bought in to assist with local representation” said Ms Tingey.
