Stuttgart: a cosmopolitan, economically strong, future-oriented metropolis

Stuttgart's Mayor, Dr. Nopper, said on the occasion of the signing of the agreement: "I am delighted that our city is to host the Urban Future in 2023. In addition to the exchange of ideas with guests from home and abroad, this major event is an outstanding opportunity to present Stuttgart as a cosmopolitan, economically strong and future-oriented metropolis. At the same time we can also show how innovatively we are tackling the key issues of urban transformation in our city and the surrounding region."

Gerald Babel‐Sutter stated: "With the state capital of Stuttgart we have found a strong cooperation partner for our 2023 conference, and we are very much looking forward to the coming collaboration. Together we will orchestrate an inspiring and innovative event that will address the main issues of sustainable urban development.
