Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic, is holding the sixth-annual Caribbean Meeting & Incentive Travel Exchange (CMITE) at the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana from 10-13 August, the event’s first time in the second largest Caribbean nation.

CMITE, held in partnership with SITE, brings hosted North American meeting planners and incentive buyers together with Caribbean suppliers for two-and-a-half days of exclusive networking opportunities and prescheduled one-to-one meetings in private suites.

The sold-out event launched with a complimentary, pre-event familiarization trip for buyers at the Casa de Campo resort and will conclude with a post-event familiarization trip to the all-inclusive Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort & Spa.

Situated on 121 acres along Caribbean beachfront, the all-inclusive Hard Rock provides a scenic backdrop for dynamic business meetings and receptions.

Suppliers at the event represent cruise lines, tour operators, destination management companies and sought-after incentive destinations, hotels, resorts and spas in the region.

Event sponsors include Amstar DMC, Aruba Convention Bureau, Barbados Tourism Marketing, Inc, British Virgin Islands, Casa de Campo, Club Med Groups & Incentives, Dominican Republic Tourism Board, Grand Velas Riviera Maya, Hard Rock Hotels-All Inclusive Collection, Hyatt Zilava and Hyatt Ziva All Inclusive Resorts, Maui Jim Sunglasses, Palladium Hotel Group/Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort & Spa, Paradisus Palma Real Resort, ProColombia and Society for Incentive Travel Excellence.
