PCMA Launches New Digital Experience Institute
PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association) has unveiled its new Digital Experience Institute (DEI), formerly known as the Virtual Edge Institute.
The DEI is designed to deliver insights and connections on attendee engagement in a changing climate of connected experiences, PCMA said, arguing that digital know-how will be the key to driving event success in the future.
The DEI will be designed to help planners capture audiences and tackle the goals and challenges common to multiple event formats, including lifestreams, on demand content and in virtual reality. The DEI will be led by an Advisory Board of luminaries from the association, medical, corporate and event technology disciplines.
The DEI will also offer a live online Digital Event Strategist education course and certification, as well as resources for organization leaders, event producers and vendors such as the solution directory, surveys and online resources.
