Newly launched Jerusalem Conventions and Visitors Bureau

Jerusalem is unconventional!

The brand new Jerusalem Conventions and Visitors Bureau (JCVB) has been founded to serve as primary resource for the organization of conferences in Jerusalem.

Mrs. Ilanit Melchior, Director of Tourism for the Jerusalem Development Authority, explained "We have always known of the special potential of Jerusalem as a conference destination - as we have seen with hundreds of conferences taking place each year - on such varied topics as the Space Conference earlier this month, and the Christian Tabernacles Festival before that - but with the launch now of the Jerusalem Conventions and Visitors Bureau we are able to streamline our efforts to attract large scale conventions and conferences, offering financial incentives as well as logistical support.”

Since its launch earlier this year, the JCVB’s professional staffs is working together with partners across Jerusalem to both attract new conferences and conventions as well as ensure the highest level of services to international and local conferences taking place in Jerusalem. The international outreach has already begun, including a recent delegation of Jerusalem Development Authority officials to the ReJuvenate Marketplace conference in Dallas, Texas, which is one of the largest gatherings of faith-based conference organizers.
