Jeju ESG Management Forum Discusses Sustainability and National Trends

The Jeju ESG Management Forum, the first event of the 2022 Jeju MICE Forum, was held on 5 August.

The event was promoted to strengthen the understanding and response capability of ESG management for the industry and academia in Jeju, and to provide opportunities for communication related to ESG management for discovering and responding to the trend.

During the forum, two keynote speeches were held under the theme of ESG management for sustainability and domestic and international ESG trends of Jeju Island's environmental asset conservation, and, also, two sessions on ESG management strategy for sustainable green MICE were presented. There was also a discussion on Jeju-style ESG management that considers the environment.

Jeju CVB hoped that knowledge and awareness of the importance related to sustainable MICE and ESG management would be widened, and Jeju's image would be established as a sustainable MICE destination.

On 14 and 15 November, the Unique Venue Forum will be held as the second event of Jeju MICE Forum. The Jeju MICE Forum, which is held under the theme of Unique Venue, will be held at the ICC on the first day and at Unique Venue on the second day. 

On the first day, a keynote lecture on reducing the COVID-19 crisis and the prospect of Unique Venue will be held, and on the second day, we will explore the Unique Venue of Jeju and participate in the related programme.
 
Jeju CVB hopes to promote Jeju MICE conditions through the newly selected unique Venue in 2022 and develop into the Asia Venue Forum for 2023 after this year's Jeju Venue Forum hosted by collectting opinions from Korean representatives Unique Venue officials, including Jeju.
